The LumaSpec Model LS800S is a compact visible light spectrometer which provides quantitative spectral power data (µW/cm2/nm) for microscope/optical illumination systems. The LumaSpec has a working range of 350nm to 800nm and a resolution of 1.5nm. In addition to providing detailed information of the spectral output the LumaSpec software provides a simple method of saving data and overlaying that information for future comparison. Time stamped data can be saved up to every 100 ms to further quantify the stability of the user’s light source. It is an ideal tool for quantifying your microscope illumination, characterising LEDs etc and measuring the transmission performance of the optical filter sets.
Key Features
10 selectable wavelength ranges which automatically calculate spectral power
The compact and modular design of the ProScan®III system is capable of controlling up to 16 individual stepper motor axes including; a motorized stage, focussing devices, three filter wheels and three shutters with the speed, accuracy and precision required by today’s highly automated and demanding applications. The vast majority of Prior Scientific’s products can be controlled via this system, including well plate and slide loaders, the Lumen 200 Pro and the Z-Deck.
Key Features
The OptiScanTM III is the latest generation of the popular OptiScanTM series of controllers from Prior Scientific, and is ideal for simple, routine microscopy applications requiring precision and reliability. Offering fine control over the X, Y and (optionally) the Z axis, the system can be commanded either by a joystick or by computer, via RS232 or USB connection. The OptiScanTM III full system consists of a control box, a joystick, a stage (ES107 for inverted microscopes and ES111 for upright microscopes) and an optional focus motor.
Key Features
Ideal for live cell imaging, the incubator has been designed to replace the sample holder and seamlessly integrate into the ProScan H117 stages. This chamber provides a perfectly stable and optimized environment in which to maintain cells during the course of long term time lapse experiments. It does not compromise the performance of the stage in any way at all.
Key Features
The micromanipulators are designed to provide best in class positioning stability and noise free recordings. These characteristics are achieved through unique linear piezo drives and a small compact design. While the piezo drives perfectly hold their position even in the power off mode for noise free recordings, the small size of the manipulators minimize the influence of thermal expansion and prevents vibrations. Combined with the Z-Deck, these products provide an excellent basis for electrophysiology experiments.
Key Features
Adaptable to most modern inverted microscopes, the simple, rugged and compact PLW20 provides three independently controlled and encoded axes for rotational, vertical and horizontal movement. Combine the PLW20 with a Prior ProScan stage for your inverted microscope and you have a system designed specifically for high content screening applications with a capacity of 20 well plates (two racks of 10 each).
